The Oregon Battle of the books is an OASL - Oregon Association School Libraries sponsored program. The mission is to encourage and recognize students who enjoy reading, to broaden reading interests, to increase reading comprehension, promote academic excellence, and to promote cooperative learning and teamwork among students.

4th & 5th grade students are invited to join the Oregon Battle of the Books. Click on the OBOB icon to view this year's fantastic titles! Dates to know:
September - permission slips/contracts due to Mrs. EFB, Teacher-Librarian.
January - battles begin
March - Regional Competition
April - State Competition
3rd grade students are invited to participate in the "Mock Battle" in March. Interested students will receive a reading list from Mrs. EFB.
